When is the Flux 3 release date?

Will Flux 3 be open source?

Unknown. Black Forest Labs has released open weights for parts of every Flux generation so far, but nothing has been announced for a third. If open weights ship, they run on Diffus.

Can I use Flux 3 on Diffus?

Not yet, because it does not exist. What you can use today is Flux.2 Klein 9B and 4B, and the whole Flux.1 line including Kontext and Krea.

What should I use instead right now?

Flux.2 Klein if you want the newest architecture, Flux.1 Dev if you want the largest ecosystem of community LoRAs. Both are one click apart here, so you can run the same prompt through each.
