Civitai is the largest open repository of Stable Diffusion models — checkpoints, LoRAs, LyCORIS and embeddings uploaded by the community. It is where most open image models are published and discussed.

Is Diffus affiliated with Civitai?

No. Diffus is an independent platform. We host and run open community models, including ones published on Civitai, but we are not connected to Civitai in any way.

Can I run any Civitai model on Diffus?

Yes. Paste the model's Civitai URL and Diffus imports it for you, or pick from the 70,000+ public models already hosted. This matters most for checkpoints: only a few hundred of them have a generate button on Civitai itself, so everything else normally means downloading several gigabytes and owning the GPU to run it.

No. Generation runs on our GPU pool, so a laptop or a phone browser is enough. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.

Is Civitai down? What can I do?

Civitai has outages like any site. Models you have already imported into Diffus keep working during one, because the weights are stored on our side rather than fetched at generation time. Importing a new model does need Civitai to be reachable.

How is Diffus different from Civitai's on-site generator?

Civitai's generator is a form with a fixed set of supported models. Diffus gives you the full A1111 WebUI and ComfyUI node graphs, ControlNet, inpainting, upscaling, face swap, video models and LoRA training, all against any model you bring.

Can I upload my own private model?

Yes. Private model space is included from the Basic plan up, and Pro adds fine-tuning so you can train a LoRA on Diffus and use it immediately.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $1/month for a daily credit allowance and go up to Pro at $48/month billed yearly, which includes ComfyUI, advanced video and fine-tuning. Every plan is credit-based, so you can see exactly what a generation costs before you run it.
